Our friends on Mount Desert Island, the MDI Wheelers, have launched their community adapted trike ride program. A small group of dedicated individuals have been working toward this goal for over two years. They have collaborated with the Friends of Acadia, the College of the Atlantic, and the National Park Service to make their vision a reality. Portland Wheelers is proud to have initially inspired and assisted this group. We look forward to the miles of smiles they will provide on the carriage roads of Acadia National Park.
