Official Rules: Portland Wheelers Bike Giveaway
1. Sponsor The sweepstakes is sponsored by Portland Wheelers, with the prize generously provided by our sponsor, Cyclemania.
2. Eligibility The giveaway is open to legal residents of the United States who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Current board members and volunteers of Portland Wheelers, as well as employees of Cyclemania, are not eligible to win. Void where prohibited by law.
3. Entry Period The sweepstakes begins on July 7, 2026 and ends at 1:59 PM EST on August 23, 2026. Entries submitted before or after the Entry Period will not be eligible.
4. How to Enter No purchase necessary to enter or win. A purchase or donation will not increase your chances of winning. Users may enter by navigating to The Festival page and submitting their First Name, Last Name, and Email Address via the official entry form.
Email Opt-In: By entering this giveaway, participants explicitly consent to be added to the Portland Wheelers email mailing list to receive newsletters and updates about the 1st Annual Biking is for EveryBODY Festival and other initiatives. Participants may unsubscribe at any time without affecting their chances of winning.
Limit one (1) registration entry per person/email address.
- An additional entry will be given for each time a registrant is named as a referral on another registrant’s entry.
5. Prize One (1) winner will receive a Trek FX 1 Gen 4 bicycle, sponsored by Cyclemania. The prize is non-transferable, and no cash alternative or prize substitutions will be provided.
6. Winner Selection and Notification The winner will be selected by a random drawing from all eligible entries received during the Entry Period. The drawing will take place on or about August 24, 2026.
The winner will be notified via the email address provided at entry within 48 hours of the drawing.
If the selected winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, or fails to claim the prize within 14 days from the time award notification was sent, the prize may be forfeited, and an alternate winner selected.
7. Prize Pickup The winner must be able to pick up the prize in person at Cyclemania in Portland, ME. Shipping is not included.
8. General Conditions By participating, entrants agree to abide by these Official Rules and the decisions of Portland Wheelers, which are final and binding. Portland Wheelers reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the giveaway if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor impairs the integrity of the giveaway.
9. Release and Limitations of Liability By participating in the giveaway, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Portland Wheelers, Cyclemania, and their respective officers, directors, volunteers, and agents from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the giveaway or receipt or use of the prize.
